The detailed program(13 Nights/14 Days)

DAY (1)-Yangon Arrival & Evening Shwedagon Sightseeing
  • Arrival Yangon by international flight.
  • Our guide or driver will welcome at the airport with your name board after cleaning immigration.
  • Transfer to the hotel and checking into hotel. (Check-in time is approx. 2 pm).
  • After take arest for a while, visit Shwedagon Pagoda rises 326ft (99.3m) above its base. Erected more than 2500 years ago and enshrining eight hairs of Buddha placed in a treasure chamber deep under its base. It is the highest symbol of the people’s devotion to Buddha.

DAY (2)-Yangon-Mandalay By Flight (ETD:ETA/07:00-08:25) & Pyin Oo Lwin Sightseeing
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Transfer to the airport and depart for Mandalay by scheduled flight. (approximately 01:25 min flying time)
  • Arrive Mandalay the second largest city and the last royal capital of Burma.
  • Drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, formerly and colloquially referred to as Maymyo, is a scenic hill town. In 1896, a permanent military post was established in the town and later, because of its climate, it became a hill station and the summer capital of British Burma.
  • The flower city is well known for its colonial era-buildings, pine trees, eucalyptus and silver-oak abounding in town.
  • Enjoy one hour horse ride around Pyin Oo Lwin.
  • Visit National Kandawgyi Gardens, botanical gardens founded in 1915.  It features more than 480 species of flowers and trees.
  • Overnight at Hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin.
DAY (3)- Pyin Oo Lwin-Gokhteik-Hsipaw Sightseeing
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Transfer to train station to take an experience of crossing over historic Goteik viaduct.
  • This structure of steel trestle construction for railway line began in 1899 and completed in 1900. Due to its technical and natural condition it’s considered as a masterpiece of the world standard.
  • Drop off at Naung Pain station after crossing the bridge.
  • Our driver will wait at the station and visit around the village.
  • Proceed to Hsipaw and checking into hotel.
  • Overnight at hotel in Hsipaw.
DAY (4)-Hsipaw Boat Trip & Village Sightseeing
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Take 1 hour boat ride upstream river for nice scenery with the mountain, valley, and fruit plantations along the river.
  • Stop boat riding to take short trekking up the hill through fruit plantation for 45 minutes to visit old Tai (SHAN) monastery which is 150 years old, sitting alone in the forest.
  • Pass through the plantations of pineapple, papaya, orange which are widely grown along the way to the monastery.
  • Learn interesting thing at the monastery and return to the jetty, again boat ride to the river confluence at which swimming is available on the individual wish.
  • On the way back of boat ride, go visit to a SHAN village which has typical houses with a small charming garden.
  • Leisure at the hotel and evening visit famous Bawgyo Pagoda, a typically Shan-style Paya from the 14th century.
  • Overnight in Hsipaw.
DAY (5)-Hsipaw-Mandalay By Car & Sightseeing
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Drive back to Mandalay approx. 5 hrs driving time for 205km.
  • On the way, enjoy scenic beauty & ways of life of the local people.
  • Arrive Mandalay, check in to the hotel.
  • Evening visit Mahamyatmuni Buddha Image, bronze casting and marble stone cutting craftsmen quarters and gold leaf beaters.
  • Move to Ku Tho Daw Pagoda also known as world’s largest book, surrounded by 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist scriptures. Proceed to Golden Palace Monastery, which was once part of the palace complex where King Mindon lived.

DAY (6)- Mandalay-Mingun-Amarapura-Mandalay Sightseeing
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Drive to jetty. Take a boat trip about 1 hr to Mingune, located on the western bank of the Ayeyarwa dy River.
  • Arrive Mingune, visiting by bullock cart to huge unfinished Mingun Pagoda built between 1790 and 1797 which was split by earthquake in 1838. It is possibly the world’s largest pile of bricks.
  • World’s largest working bell of 87 tons cast in 1808 by Bodawpaya.
  • Mya Thein Tan pagoda an image of Sulamani Pagoda at the peak of Mount Meru in Tavatimsa plane of nats.
  • Back to Mandalay by boat.
  • Drive to Amarapura and enjoy amazing sunset view on the boat over U Bein Bridge, 6km long wooden bridge said to be the longest teak bridge in the world, built over 150 years.
  • Back to Mandalay and overnight at hotel.

 

DAY (7)- Mandalay-Bagan BY RV. Paukan Cruise
  • Breakfast at hotle.
  • Transfer to Sagaing jetty.
  • The embarkation time is 10.00 hrs and cast off after half an hour.
    Welcome Cocktail and briefing in the Saloon or Sundeck followed by Lunch.
  • Cruise all day long. In the late afternoon we stop at Yandabo, a village specializing in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on Feb. 24, 1826. We visit the Pot workshops and the monastery.
  • Moor overnight near the village of Shwe Nann Tint.

 

DAY (8)-RV. Paukan disembark Bagan & Sightseeing
  • Early in the morning we continue downstream to Bagan. After breakfast (if time permits) we visit another typical river village.
    Enjoy the sunrise near Bagan. Passengers will disembark at Bagan Aye Yar jetty by9:30 hrs.
  • Our driver will wait at Bagan jetty and start for highlight sightseeing in Bagan.
  • Choice will be made out of the 2800 pagodas and temples to visit the most interesting ones like:
  • Eg>>>Visit Shwezigon Pagoda, prototype of later Myanmar stupa & of the famous pagoda of Myanmar.
  • Kyansithar Umin, long dimly lit corridors decorated with frescoes.
  • Transfer to Shwesandaw Pagoda for panorama view.
  • Htilominlo Temple, 150ft high temple with fine plaster carvings, glazed sandstone decorations in the base. 
  • Ananda Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Bagan built by King Kyansitthar.
  • Myinkaba lacquerware village to see the manufacturing stages.
  • Myinkaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple with mural paintings, then to Manuha Temple which houses four immense Buddha images, Visit Thatbyinnyu Temple, tallest in Bagan.
  • The day is always finished off by going to one of the larger temples to get an incredible sunset view of the entire area; a truly magical experience.
  • Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
DAY (9)-Bagan-Heho By Flight & Pindaya Yasakyi Village Trekking
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Transfer to airport and depart for Heho by schedule flight.
  • Arrive Heho, drive to Pindaya and start trek to Yasakyi Village. Before start trekking, you can go to market and buy all the provision for your forthcoming 2 days trek if you wish.
  • Then, enjoy a walk through the hills, 1 hour to Htut Ni, village of the Danu tribe. You will pass through the faming where the Danu cultivates cheroot, tea, damsons and mangoes on the hillsides. The track crosses the valley floor before climbing very steeply again to another Danu village of See Kya Inn stop for simple lunch. Continue to walk about 2 hours to Yasakyi. In the afternoon, observe tribal village life and how the Palaung people dry cheroot in a specially designed oven.
  • Simple dinner and accommodation at Yasakyi Monastery or local village.
DAY (10)-Yasakyi Village to Pindaya Trekking
  • Simple breakfast at Yasakyi village.
  • This morning enjoy continue walking through the hills, 40 minutes to the village of Danu tribe. The Danu cultivates peanut, corn, potatoes on th e hillside. After 40 minutes arrive at Danu village of Lin Lay Inn and continue to Taung Paw Gyi, 1 hour and 30 minutes by trekking mixed this route up and down hills. The path leads through villages, producing Shan Tea in the traditional way.
  • You will see the drying of the tealeaves and pass through the tea plantations.
  • From Taung Paw Gyi descending to Pindaya through the Banyan Trees.
  • In the evening, visit to Pindaya Cave, believed to contain more than 8000 Buddha Images of all sizes, and caved in wood, stone, marble and bronze thickly glided.
  • Overnight at hotel in Pindaya.
DAY (11)-Pindaya-Inle Lake Sightseeing By Boat
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Drive to Nyaung Shwe, take a short boat ride to hotel and check in.
  • Then, sightseeing by boat on the beautiful Inle Lake second largest lake in Myanmar stretches 11 miles (17.7 km) home to Inthar national race, many of whom live in stilted houses built over the water.
  • On the boat trip you will visit floating villages and floating gardens, lotus stems weaving.
  • You can also see Inthar technique of leg-rowing where one leg is wrapped around the paddle to drive the boat and also their traditional way of fishing.
  • Visit the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda.
  • Back to hotel and relax.
  • In the evening, take a canoe boat trip to see sunset view in the Lake.
  • Overnight at Hotel Inle Lake.
DAY (12)-Inle Lake-Indein-Inle Lake Sightseeing
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast, Explore one of the local 5-day markets, as we easily called, are well-known visit around the lake.  The markets are rotating among the villages in regular order – one village becomes the host of the market every 5th day.  By visiting 5-day markets, you will get insight into the life-style of the ethnic Pa-O, Danu and Intha inhabitants who came to these markets to sell their goods.
  • The visit to such markets is thus subject to market day calendar and the location of the host village.
  • Visit a floating souvenir shop at ‘’Ywa ma Village‘’where we can see the long neck ladies, make weaving demonstration inside.
  • Take enjoyable boat ride through irrigation canals to Indein pagoda complex- an archaeological site worthy to visit hundreds of Shan style ruined pagoda standing on a slope of the hill.
  • Some of the pagodas dated back to 17th and 18th centuries.
  • Back to hotel and overnight.

Optional Wine Tasting at Red Mountain Vineyard – 10 USD/person

Evening, visit Red Mountain Winery/Vineyards and Sunset over Shan Mountain ranges.

DAY (13)-Inle Lake-Heho-Yangon By Flight & Sightseeing
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Transfer to the airport and depart for Yangon by scheduled flight (apprx: 1hr 10 mins flying).
  • Upon arrival, take a short drive and photo stop around Mahabandoola Park, Sule Pagoda, Mayor’s Hall, old colonial districts of Yangon.
  • Visit St. Mary Church and Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) closed on Every Monday and gazette holidays. In the evening, stroll around China Town Area which is the busiest streets of Yangon with full of local food stalls and hawkers.
  • Overnight in Yangon.

  • Breakfast at hotel.
