Kayar State
Kayar State lies East part of Myanmar, close to
Thailand and Kachin State. The total area is
4530 sq miles and the population is about 0.3
million. Mostly Kayar People and also Shan,
Myanmar, Inntha and Ethnic minorities living in
the State include Pa-daung or Kayann. Pa-daung
women wear around their necks solid bronze rings
in different sizes (from the base of their necks
to their chins, getting smaller and smaller).
The famous capital is Loikaw.
