Kachin State
Kachin State lies far north of Myanmar with
snow-capped mountain ranges. Kachin State is
sharing boarders with China, Shan State, Sagaing
Division and India. The total area is 34379 sq
miles. The population is around 1.2 million. The
minority people living are Kachin race and
minority are Shan, Myanmar. The famous capital
is Myitkyina.
Weather Condition
It is a hill station, cool and pleasant all the
year round. The average temperature is between
60-80 degrees F and the year round average
rainfall is 120 to 150 inches.
How to go there
You can reach there by car, by train and by air
from Yangon and also from the Mandalay.
