Extension From Bagan

(EGTM-17) Bagan-Kampalat-Mt. Victoria-Bagan
 

Day (1) Bagan-Kampalat (By Jeep)
Early morning depart by jeep to Kampalat (approx 100 mile / 8 hour) through rough and dirt road passing through Chauk, Seikbyu and Saw. You will feel cool and comfortable when reach the 4600 ft high old British administrative town. Overnight in Kampalat.

Day (2) Kampalat-Mt. Vitoria (Nat Ma Taung)-Base Camp (By Jeep / By Trekking)
Continue drive to the base of Mt. Victora (Nat Ma Taung) (approx 2 hours) at elevation of 9800 ft. If desire you may scale to the summit at 10,500ft (approx 4hours). This beautiful park covers a large area with dares jungle, kpine trees at higher levels and oak trees. The national park is an area of great bio-diversity with many rare forms of flora and fauna. Mt. Victoria offers superb views of the surrounding area from the top. Overnight at base camp.

Day (3) Base camp-Kampalat (By Jeep)
Return by jeep to Kampalat and continue drive to Oak Foe Chin village (approx 10 min). Continue hike to Machauk Aa village (approx 30 min) to observe many tattoo faced women and sacrificial posts etc. Overnight in Kampalat.

Day (4) Kampalat - Bagan (By Jeep)
Early morning return back to Bagan form Kampalat. On the way continue to Payathonzu, a complex of three brick shrines with mural paintings from the Bagan period, and see Man Paya a large lacquer Buddha image, said to date from the 13th century. Arrive to Bagan late afternoon. Overnight at Bagan.
